Christmas was generously held in Kingston again this year, in Jean and Murray’s new digs on the water across from Wolf Island eight floors up.
We played and ate and drank and ate and slept and shopped and soaked and ate. It was a lovely visit.

Mood: Even, friendly and catty

Jack is personable. Possibly thinks he’s human, but proud of being a cat. Yes, I know that’s paradoxical, but Jack is a cat. Get over it.

I went for a stroll in the garden this morning and he elected to join me. Its always fresh to have a feline choose to go on a walk with you – even if getting to exactly where you’re about to step is of Vital National Importance to one of you. But there you are.

Forthwith:

Jack checks out the crows annoying the heck out of the morning quietness.

“Wawazat?”

“Smell my bum. C’mun, you know you want to.”

Swipe-and-a-miss! I became a tag-object. And he was serious about it.

Frustrated about not connecting his claws with my hand, Jack instead bit a tree.
